Optical Flats
Optical flats are polished plano parallel surfaces usually as discs or squares. The terminology optical flats include general optically polished spectroscopic windows and precision test piece flats with flatness usually up to lamba 20 for test plate measurement of other surfaces and astronomical mirrors.
Spectroscopic optical flats are made in a range of materials including fused silica, UV glasses, BK7 and a range of technical sheet glass materials. See materials page for full range.
Spectroscopic optical flats are widely used in high volume quantities for CRTS, lamp manufacture, scientific instruments and research.
For capabilities and custom sizes, see custom page or select from a range of standard optical windows from stock page.
